It aims to increase the use of polymer micro-optics in various application fields like telecommunication, automotive, environmental as well as biomedical sensing. By the distribution of small and low cost polymer micro-optical components new micro-optical systems will be realised which contribute to increase safety, quality of life and health of human beings. Through the work of POLYMICRO, European industry will keep its leading role in optics and especially in micro-optics. It will be able to increase their annual turnover continuously. |
